Hayley Williams tweeted the 'Stranger Things' star after footage of his 'Misery Business' cover went viral.
Paramore have invited Stranger Things actor Gaten Matarazzo to join them onstage after watching footage of his band covering 'Misery Business' at a recent show.
The 15 year old actor, who plays Dustin in the Netflix sci-fi hit, performed with his band Work In Progress at New Jersey's legendary The Stone Pony venue late last month.
The band also includes Gaten's sister and their setlist featured covers of songs by Fall Out Boy and Foo Fighters.
Now, Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams has invited Gaten and his bandmates to join them for a good old fashioned sing song at a concert date near him:
dear @GatenM123, @itstayloryall & i saw your band’s Miz Biz cover and all i can say is: 🤘🏼. open invite to crash a pmore stage and thrash those luscious locks around (& harmonize, obv) whenever the spirit (of rock) leads you.— hayley from Paramore (@yelyahwilliams) January 6, 2018
Paramore have made it a tradition to bring members of the crowd onstage to sing with them during 'Misery Business' but rarely has a celebrity ever been invited along.
And it looks like Gaten is keen to take them up on the offer:
Dude!! Yesss!!!! Let’s make this happen! Thanks ❤️🤘🏻— Gaten Matarazzo (@GatenM123) January 7, 2018
so welcome! i’ll get our 2018 schedule to you and you can just pick a date.— hayley from Paramore (@yelyahwilliams) January 7, 2018

And, unsurprisingly, fans seem pretty hyped too!
