It looks like Selena Gomez is about to conquer the world of beauty and perfume.
It's official. Selena Gomez is about to release her own beauty line and we couldn't be more excited.
After a few years out of the spotlight, Selena is back. At the end of last year, she released the global hit single 'Taki Taki' with DJ Snake, Ozuna and Cardi B. In June, she starred in the Jim Jarmusch horror comedy The Dead Don't Die alongside Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton and Bill Murray. And, now, she is currently in the process of putting the finishing touches on her highly anticipated new album. It's a great time to be a Selenator.

That's not all though. Selena is about to enter the world of beauty with her own line coming soon.
Yesterday (Aug 13), WWD revealed that Selena has trademarked her name for a variety of beauty products. According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Selena's production company, July Moon Productions, filed a new trademark for “Selena Gomez” on July 11. The trademark includes: “fragrances, cosmetics, skin-care preparations, hair-care preparations, soaps, moisturisers and essential oils.” Iconic.
This isn't Selena's first foray into the beauty world either. In 2011, she launched her own self-titled perfume with Adrenalina Inc. She's also made a name for herself in the fashion world by collaborating on her own lines with Coach and Puma. That being said, it looks like this upcoming line will be the first beauty line which Selena runs all by herself and we can't wait to see what she has in store for us.
Selena joins other stars including the likes of Rihanna and Lady Gaga who've launched popular beauty lines. Ariana Grande also recently trademarked her name for beauty purposes too. Given how popular Selena is in music, acting, social media and beyond, we have no doubt that this line will be a huge success.
