Brand new music from The Weeknd is on the way and the singer may be releasing a song with a very interesting title. The Weeknd is reportedly gearing up to drop a song called 'Like Selena' according to E! News. E! and others note that 'Like Selena' is one of four ASCAP songs recently registered to The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye.

While The Weeknd has not commented on the 'Like Selena' song title rumours, he is letting fans know that a huge drop is imminent. "The fall starts tomorrow night," he wrote on Monday (25 November), hinting that new music will drop on Tuesday (26 November).

As if The Weeknd wasn't being cryptic enough with his Instagram post, he also posted a photo of a Starboy (2016) CD cover on his Instagram stories. Could that mean a studio album announcement could be on the way, too?

To be honest, we're not 100% convinced of the on-the-nose 'Like Selena' song title. It may be a placeholder and, for all we know, Abel could be gearing up to drop a falsetto bop about Selena Quintanilla. WHO KNOWS?!

Selena has been climbing charts, herself, in the last few weeks with her two new releases 'Lose You To Love Me' and 'Look At Her Now'– both about finding yourself after past relationships.

What do you guys think? Will this alleged 'Like Selena' song be a bop?
