Selena Gomez Just Deleted An Angry Instagram Post About Her Billboard 'Woman Of The Year' Profile
6 December 2017, 12:18
Selena expressed frustration at the "hurtful" profile.
Selena Gomez finished off a busy and eventful year with one of the music industry's top honours in hand. Back in October, Billboard Magazine named Selena its 'Woman Of The Year', citing her various projects and philanthropic work.
At the end of November, Selena accepted the honour and appear at the award ceremony alongside her best friend.
Along with that honour usually comes a glowing profile piece but, as it it turns out, Selena may not have been entirely happy with what was written about her.
Selena posted (then deleted) a story to her Instagram calling out the magazine for an added bit of colour commentary that the actress found "hurtful".
"Never will I let another human being guess my words ever again. Or invite them in my home. That is so hurtful. The most 'ridiculous' part is no one knowing my heart when I say things," she wrote just before making her Instagram account private.
Selena seemed to be responding to an innocuous passage about a five foot stuffed teddy bear that was in her home at the time of the interview.

After posting this passage and an angry response Selena made her Instagram account private for a short time.
"There’s a five-foot teddy bear sprawled across the kitchen floor in Selena Gomez’s North Hollywood home. “I know, I know,” says Gomez, rolling her eyes, acknowledging that the stuffed animal doesn't quite blend with the trio of armchairs nestled in the inviting, marble-accented nook. “It was a gift, and at first I thought, ‘This is so ridiculous, I can’t wait until I give it away to another person.’”But Gomez, 25, hasn't let go of it -- yet."

Her account does appear to be available to the public once more.
Fans voiced concern after Selena's latest move and an earlier Instagram video where she expresses needing alone time.

Selena's response to the stuffed teddy bear passage is not immediately obvious, but this might be a particularly sensitive time for her.
After taking a short break to address her health and going through a very public break-up, Sel may have taken the passage to heart for reasons we might never understand.
Selena has drawn some criticism for her response to the profile, however, her fans are wishing her well.
