In a recent fan Q&A, Shawn opened up about the day he and Camila began dating officially back in July.
Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have been this year's definitive breakout celebrity couple. The pair had quite the summer of love as they were continuously papped getting closer following the release of their hit single 'Señorita'. The couple haven't been shy about putting their love on display, though they have been a bit coy about discussing their romance.

Fan Q&As have been a staple of Shawn Mendes' recent tour and he's been fielding quite a few questions about his relationship with Camila Cabello. Through his Q&As, fans learned about how Camila didn't want to date him at first and other adorable little tidbits. Now, a curious fan has managed to get the lowdown on when the pair made things OFFICIALLY official.
"I know there's been rumours about you and Camila for a while? How long have you two actually been together," a fan asked at a recent Q&A.
Shawn was surprisingly quick to answer: "We haven't been dating for that long. We've been dating since 4 July, officially."
Aaaaaand, queue the chorus of "aaaaaaw"s.

Yes, the pair made things official on 4 July, the most romantic day of the year. Observant fans will know that news of Camila's breakup with Matthew Hussey first made headlines on 26 June.
'Señorita' dropped on 21 June and Shawmila made things official just two weeks later.
It also means that the pair had already been together for a while when they had their heat-filled performance of 'Señorita' on the MTV VMA stage back in August.
This comes after the pair laughed off breakup rumours last week, after Shawn deleted the viral kissing video of them making out "like fish". The end of an era, truly.
Shawn simply posted a photo of himself with Camila and put those rumours straight to bed.
Camila is currently in the studio working on her upcoming album and we're almost positive her lyrics will reveal even more about their adorable courtship.
