Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello just got tattoos together

Camila Mendes and Shawn Mendes got new ink this week and they're the perfect dainty little tattoos.
Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes just got brand new tattoos together and, no, they aren't matching – but they're still iconic. The PDA prone couple were tattooed by LA-based artist Kane Navasgard, who gave fans a closer look at the new ink via his Instagram Story earlier this week (13 November).

Kane Navasgard "welcomed Camila to the club" in an Instagram Story highlighting the tattoo. Camila Cabello's new tattoo is reportedly a first for the 22-year-old singer and it's a subtle tribute to the 1998 film Shakespeare in Love.
The dainty script on the inside of her pinky finger reads "it's a mystery"– which is part of a line of dialogue between Hugh Fennyman and Philip Henslowe in Shakespeare in Love.

Meanwhile, Shawn got a beautiful letter "A" behind his ear which fans believe is a tribute to his little sister, Aaliyah. Although Camila's ink is reportedly her first, Shawn is no stranger to a tattoo needle. Shawn has a small collection of tattoos, including the instantly recognisable sparrow on his right hand.
Shawn also has a guitar on his left arm, a lightbulb with blue flowers inside and an elephant on his middle finger.
Earlier this year, Shawn proved just how spontaneous he can be when it comes to new ink after a fan inspired him to get a butterfly tattoo on his forearm. Shawn even slid into the fan's DMs to get the lowdown on the edit before actually getting it tattooed just a week later.
Well, you know what they say. A couple that gets tattoos together stays together.
