20-year-old Shawn Mendes was denied entry to Bruxelles pub in Dublin according to now-viral footage of the "Lost In Japan" superstar.
Shawn Mendes is a global superstar but even he gets turned away from bars and pubs sometimes, too. Shawn was performing in Dublin, Ireland this past weekend, and appeared to be turned away from famous pub Bruxelles after his gig.
Shawn is 20 years old, which is above the drinking age. However, some bars and pubs stipulate that patrons should be over 21 years old to be admitted after a certain time.
Onlookers captured footage of an exchange between Shawn and security personnel outside the pub. Security appeared to explain their policy to the singer before Shawn says, "okay thank you. Wow."
You can watch the video of Shawn Mendes being turned away from the pub below.

Shawn took it all in stride, though. To be honest, we've all been there.
According to the Irish Sun, Shawn was later spotted at a local McDonalds where he took photos with fans. See, man of the people.
Fans on social media joked about Shawn returning to the pub after his birthday in August.
