The 1975 frontman has decided to debut a pop punk-inspired new look as he prepares album number 3.

Matty Healy, lead singer and songwriter with the always excellent group The 1975, has given himself a bit of a makeover this week, dyeing his hair a Fall Out Boy-approved shade of purple.

The new look was first spotted in some sneaky selfies taken with fans around London recently as well as on a recent Instagram story:

Plus, he recently rocked his new purple locks to a performance of the play Harry Potter & The Cursed Child in the West End alongside his family:
