Matty treated US fans to a stripped take of the emotional ballad...
The 1975's Matty Healy has performed the emotional ballad "Nana", taken from the band's recent second album, live for the very first time.
Matty and co are currently on tour across the US and stopped by X96 in Utah for a studio session that included singles "Somebody Else", "Change Of Heart" and this raw acoustic track, dedicated to Healy's grandmother.

The song was notable on the album as a contrast to the livelier, electronic material that makes up the bulk of the record and the raw nature of the vocals, Healy visibly cracking with emotion over the final lines. This led many to believe it may never make into a live set so it's certainly nice to see this undoubted album highlight get a rare airing.
The band continue their US tour before returning to the UK this December for a sold out arena tour.
