Troye Sivan's highly anticipated sophomore album Bloom is finally here. After months of anticipation, the 'YOUTH' hitmaker released the 10 song record today and it's already a major success worldwide. Not only has it hit the Top 5 on iTunes in the US, UK and around the world, it's also received widespread acclaim from critics and the general public alike. The LP sees Troye hone his pop sound and get super personal.

From the revealing lyrics on 'Seventeen', in which Troye opens up about his first sexual experiences with an older man, to the heartbreaking lines in 'The Good Side' where Troye gets candid about a past relationship, it's a remarkable record. Not to mention the amazing duet with Ariana Grande ('Dance to This' is still iconic). There's one song in particular which fans are obsessed with right now: 'Lucky Strike'.

There is nothing too salacious about 'Lucky Strike' other than the fact that it's a stone cold banger. Troye co-wrote the track with Alex Hope. Alex was involved in most of Blue Neighbourhood. The lyrics do get a little bit explicit ('I want to skip stones on your skin boy // And drown me in your water') and maybe takes shots at an ex ('He knows how to love me better'). Mainly, though, it's just a beautiful love song.
