In light of what’s just happened in America, we can’t help but feel a lil’ bit emotional over what went down at Troye Sivan’s concert in Canada last night (Nov 8).
In the middle of the Suburbia Tour in Toronto, Troye took to the stage to discuss the LGBTQ+ community with his audience. In case you don’t know, Troye has been donating a portion of all tickets sales to The Ally Coalition in every city he has visited on his tour. But in the middle of his speech last night, he noticed something happening in the crowd and stopped his speech to see what was happening.

Yep, a proposal happened right in the middle of Troye’s gig and he immediately invited them backstage after the show to congratulate them!

After the proposal, Troye took the time to address the situation in the US with an inspiring speech.
"LGBTQ people have always been here. We'll always be here." - A proposal went down at @troyesivan's show & inspired the room. #ElectionDay pic.twitter.com/AU2Bxn2Y5K

"No matter what happens in the US tonight, LGBTQ people have always been here, we will always be here, we're gonna be fine." Remember this.

He then dedicated the song “Heaven” to the couple in the crowd, to LGBTQ+ people across the world and especially in America.
The entire room was applauding a same sex couple who got engaged at the Troye Sivan show. All this Trump shit is taking a step back
