Anybody order a soulful acoustic version of "Heathens"?

Canadian acoustic guitar-botherer Shawn Mendes has paid tribute to Twenty One Pilots by taking on one of Tyler and Josh's biggest hits.

Shawn decided to treat his Instagram followers to a cover of "Heathens", shot in moody black and white with plenty of soulful vocals and acoustic noodling thrown in for good measure. And it kind of works...

That's one hell of a riffy finish right there. We almost thought we were watching Dreamgirls for a second.

He's a talented guy, no denying that, and the reaction to the video from the Skeleton Clique seems pretty positive...
