The site refused to release the info of clique members...
The clique may not be going to jail, but the "Heathens" leak controversy still rages on...
As you may remember, Atlantic Records petitioned a NY court to convince Reddit to release the names and IP addresses of users who leaked Twenty One Pilots' single "Heathens" on the site weeks before its official release.

When the site refused and the court rejected the request, Atlantic were forced to look elsewhere for the culprit and have since dropped their wider investigation.
Now, Reddit's CEO posted an update to the site last night (October 27th) to run through the situation on their end and they are adamant that they did the right thing.
We did have some fun with Atlantic Recording Corporation in the last couple of months...After seeing our opposition and arguing its case in front of a NY judge, Atlantic withdrew its petition entirely, signaling our victory. While pushing back on these requests requires time and money on our end, we believe it is important for us to ensure applicable legal standards are met before we disclose user information.

The identity of the supposed leaker has still not been revealed to the wider public. So we still don't know if it was a fan, Josh, a member of the management team, Josh, a record label employee or even Josh!

We'll keep you posted.
Twenty One Pilots return to the UK later this month for two Emotional Roadshow performances at London's Alexandra Palace.
