We've all imagined being seduced by Zayn, the artist formally known as Zayn Malik, right? It goes something like this...
You're standing in the queue for Nandos. You're *desperate* for a cheeky with the medium hot sauce but there's a million people ordering and you're about to die from starvation. Then out of nowhere, like an apparition of the Virgin Mary, Zayn appears and comes to your rescue with a quarter chicken with fries and macho peas. He stares into your soul and says you have the most beautiful eyes he's ever seen and wants you to become his muse. It's like Romeo & Juliet only with more flame-grilled peri peri chicken. Iconic.
But how did Zayn seduce his girlfriend Gigi Hadid? You're probably expecting something quite epic, something so romantic it would melt a heart of stone. Something so Shakespearean that countless arias and sonnets will be written in honour of Zayn and Gigi for a millennia to come... not quite.

In an interview (above) with Sirius this week, the host asks Zayn how he approached Gigi for their first date. His response? "I just asked her. It was pretty straight up." Zayn continues, "I just asked her if she wanted to go on a date. I was in New York."
I mean, wow. It's that just so...normal? What an anticlimax. I feel cheated. The interviewer asks for more info but Zayn is tight-lipped. "A gentleman never tells", he offers.
This has truly f**ed me up. All we can take from this is if you want to be seduced by Zayn, you need to be in New York. *immediately books one way flight to JFK*
