BTS have had an incredible year. With the help of one of the strongest fandoms on the internet, the South Korean boy band have enjoyed consistent buzz for the entirety of 2017.
Their appearance at this year's AMAs marked their official US television debut and gave Guinness a chance to congratulate the group on their entrance into the 2018 Book of World Records.

BTS have nabbed the top spot for most Twitter engagements as well as most Twitter engagements by a music group, edging out runner-up Harry Styles.
Guinness Records have confirmed to the Huffington Post that the group average 252,200 retweets per tweet while Harry Styles' official account averages 165,473 retweets per tweet.
These levels of engagement from their global audience are a huge part of why BTS have been such a success.
