Joke or not, what he said was pretty out of line!
Viner Cameron Dallas is doing well for himself, isn't he? He did just win the surfboard for Social Media King at the Teen Choice Awards after all! However, he landed himself in hot water soon afterwards with his really, really stupid comment about actress Jessica Alba.

During a backstage interview, Dallas was asked by a presenter if he would rather brush his teeth with Justin Timberlake's toothbrush, or Jessica Alba's toothbrush. First of all, that's nasty and second, his response will truly make you shake your damn head.
After being asked the question, Dallas replied: 'Oh man, I would choose, I would honestly choose Justin Timberlake just because I don't know where Jessica's been.'

Because you know exactly where Justin Timberlake has been or? What's the difference? They're both strangers to you. Why are you more pressed about Jessica's mouth than Justin's? Seriously, Cameron... come on.
Needless to say, many took Dallas' comment as a blatant case of 'slut-shaming' and the internet was NOT happy about the pretty misogynistic answer.

Joke or not, it wasn't funny either way and actually, yes, it was a very offensive thing to say. While he didn't EXACTLY issue an apology, he did rightfully directed his fans attention back to Jessica's incredible segment regarding gun violence.
