The Internet Is 99.9% Sure That Drake Secretly Name-Dropped His Son On 'God's Plan’

Drake is having a moment right now. Not only has the 'Nice for What' rapper just broken streaming records with his brand new album Scorpion but he's also dominated internet conversation over the past few days, as fans decipher the hidden meanings behind his many memorable and meme-able lyrics. That's not all though. The Canadian superstar has also confirmed that he has a son.

Rumours that Drake had a secret child had been commonplace for months but Pusha T sent them into wildfire in May when he released 'The Story of Addidon'. It was a diss track about Drake, and Pusha came not just for Drake's ability as a rapper but his personal life too. He rapped "Adonis is your son // And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that's real // Love that baby, respect that girl // Forget she's a pornstar, let her be your world, yuugh!".

Drake then responded to the claims by opening up about his son on Scorpion. In 'Emotionless' he raps: "I wasn't hiding my kid from the world // I was hiding the world from my kid". Then in 'March 14' he gets really candid: "Yesterday morning was crazy // I had to come to terms with the fact that it's not a maybe // That shit is in stone, sealed and signed // She not my lover like Billie Jean but the kid is mine".

Drake is yet to publicly confirm his son's name but if Pusha T's diss track is factually correct, Drake's son is called Adonis. Adonis is a name from Greek mythology that means 'Lord'. It has also since been confirmed that Drake's son's mother is Sophie Brusseaux, a former actress, who dated Drake back in 2017.

It's a lot to take in. However, the revelations don't stop there. The internet has come up with a theory that Drake gave his son a shoutout on his Number 1 single "God's Plan' and it sounds like it could be legit. Drake released the track back in January and on it he raps: "I only love my bed and my mama".

Fans have begun speculating though that the words are actually "I only love Mahbed and my mama" and that Mahbed is Adonis' middle name. If so, Drake would have referenced his son on a multi platinum single without us even knowing.

If we're to get all detective on you, there is a post on Drake's Instagram that suggests that the lyric is just 'my bed'. However, he could equally just be poking fun at fans assuming that he was saying 'my bed' or the fact that there is a double meaning to it.
