Fall Out Boy, Green Day and Weezer are set to go on tour but the VIP ticket prices are being called out by fans on Twitter.

When news of a joint tour with Fall Out Boy, Green Day and Weezer broke, it was like a hundred pop punk Christmases all coming at once. Kicking off in June 2020, the Hella Mega Tour is set to hit various cities in Europe and North America with a set list that'll send us all to an early grave.

As expected, ticket prices for the once in a lifetime gig are hella mega expensive, but fans are particularly concerned about the whopping price of VIP tickets – because they don't even include a meet and greet.

With tickets for the gig in high demand, fans who missed out on the cheapest general admission pit tickets during pre-sale were only presented with VIP packages.

The cheapest VIP package (Harley-Davidson HELLA VIP) reportedly costs around $229. Prices for the more expensive VIP packages (Rainbow Unicorn VIP) in certain cities will set you back around £600/$650.

And for that price you would expect a guaranteed barrier spot and uh, I don't know, a chance to meet the bands? Nope. The package includes: A premium ticket, a backstage tour, access to the hospitality lounge (with complimentary snacks!!), a commemorative tour laminate and a bunch of merch.

It's not quite the price of Beyoncé and JAY-Z's "On The Run II" VIP packages (which cost up to $2000 and also didn't even include a meet & greet), but for loyal fans who want to be at the front and can't afford it, it's a liiiiiitle bit annoying.

Fans are now taking to social media to rant about it.

Of course, the VIP packages aren't the only tickets available. As listed on SeeTickets.com for the London tour date, pitch standing costs £82.50, while seating ranges from £49.50-£93.50.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST on September 20th.
