A Dancer Tried To Kiss Maluma At The VMAs And Everyone Is Cringing Over It

The MTV VMAs took place in New York City last night (Aug 20) and boy, was it an eventful show. From the almighty shade thrown at Fifth Harmony, to the absolutely astonishing performances from Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande and Travis Scott, it was truly one for the books.

Another one of the incredible performers on the night was Colombian legend Maluma, who took to the stage to perform 'Felices Los 4' wearing a very shiny blazer and surrounded by a bunch of female dancers.

But his performance took a bit of a turn right at the end of the song when one of those dancers grabbed him by the face and kissed him live on TV. Yes, really. Now, we're no strangers to a good VMAs performance kiss (Madonna, Britney and Christina, anyone?) but judging by Maluma's reaction, this one DEFINITELY wasn't planned.

Clearly, that was not supposed to happen, was it? People are pointing out how shook Maluma looked after the first dancer kissed him and they're HOWLING over the other girl who tried to get her own kiss. Others are pointing out that their unexpected kiss was actually hella disrespectful toward his actual girlfriend.

Either way, everyone is absolutely dying over what happened at the end of his performance - and his reaction when the song ended.
