Rat Boy 2015

By Alim Kheraj

What do y'all think?

When an artist is called Rat Boy it might make you think of scummy basements and dirty bars. And, really, that's kinda the whole point.

Hailing from Essex, UK, Rat Boy (aka Jordan Cardy) is a multi-instrumentalist that's single handedly trying to bring back 2006 Indie and doing it pretty well, tbh.

If y'all can remember a time when Alex Turner and the Arctic Monkeys were HUGE, the Libertines were running riot over London and Jamie T was going out with two girls called "Sheila and Stella" then Rat Boy is for you.

For those that can't quite remember the misty haze (probs from some rockers smoking cigarettes outside a pub in skinny jeans) of this British invasion, you might also like Rat Boy's latest song "MOVE".

The track is a TOTAL throwback to the Beastie Boys and we're l-o-v-i-n-g it.

Pretty sure there's some exciting things to come from Rat Boy.

What do you think? Let us know in the poll below.
