The K-Pop star released the record, entitled 'Poet | Artist', posthumously with proceeds going to a very good cause set up in his memory.

The final album by SHINee lead singer Jonghyun has been released posthumously after the K-Pop star sadly passed away at the age of 27 last year.

Entitled Poet | Artist, the record features 11 songs with all profits going to the singer's mother and towards "initiating a foundation to help the underprivileged" according to label SM Entertainment.

The singer had recorded the tracks and filmed several music videos throughout last year before taking his life in December of 2017. The video for single '빛이 나 (Shinin’)' has been uploaded to his official YouTube account:

SHINee released their debut album in 2008 and have since found great success in their homeland as well as Japan. Fans took to social media to pay tribute to the singer who had also seen a very successful solo career in recent years. Fellow K-Pop stars BTS, Yoona and NCT were among attendees at his memorial service in Seoul.
