We chat to the pop punk trio about emojis, bad band names and their favourite Madden brother...

Texan pop punk trio Waterparks are about to drop their debut album Double Dare on November 4th and you should be very excited.

The boys are managed by Good Charlotte's Madden brothers, Benji and Joel, and their mentorship has clearly paid off! We had an early listen to the album and it not only features some bouncy pop punk anthems like "Hawaii (Stay Awake)" but also more dance-influenced tracks like "Take Her To The Moon", reminiscent of All Time Low's previous work.

They are set to be the next big name in the genre, about to head out on tour across the US with Tonight Alive and Sleeping With Sirens. So, before they take over the world, we thought we'd get to know Awsten, Geoff and Otto a little bit better. We caught up with them at Slam Dunk Festival a few months back to ask these 6 revealing questions.

Here's exactly what we learned about Waterparks.

1) What was the first show they ever went to?

2) What pop song would they like to cover?

3) What's the worst band name they ever had?

4) Have they ever read any of their own fan fiction?

5) Who is their favourite Madden brother?

6) Sum up Waterparks in 3 emojis!

Waterparks' debut album Double Dare is out on November 4th.
