Zara Larsson Shuts Down Rumours That She Had Sex On Instagram With Her Boyfriend

It's no secret that Zara Larsson is a pop icon in the making. Ever since the 20-year-old released 'Lush Life' as the lead single to her debut album So Good back in 2015, she's been a staple on the charts in the UK, US and around the world. From her huge MNEK collaboration 'Never Forget You' to the amazing hit 'Ain't My Fault', few young performers are as exciting and talented as Zara Larsson.

However, it's not just the music that Zara's fans love.The 'TG4M' popstar is also hilarious in interview and on social media. You'd be hard-pressed to scroll through Zara Larsson's Twitter feed and not laugh. She's charismatic af and is never afraid to call out trolls and bigots. However, yesterday Zara's social media sparked a bit of controversy after some thought that she was having sex on Instagram.

What? Last night Zara and her boyfriend, Brian H. Whittaker, were goofing around on Instagram. So far so normal. However one post in particular shook fans. In it, it looks like Zara and Brian may be having sex due to the angle that it's being filmed at and various sound effects. Zara captioned it: "He never shuts up it's actually incredible".

Not long after Zara posted it, the clip began doing the rounds on social media.

Obviously, despite what it may seem like, Zara was not having sex. After catching wind of the backlash, Zara took to Twitter and Instagram this morning to clear things up. She tweeted: "Waaiiittt nooo hahahahaha I cant believe people think I posted a video of me fucking on my story. I was literally fully clothed chilling on the sofa and Brian was pushing on my chest IM INNOCENttt". Now that makes sense.

Zara then added: "This is HILARIOUS but also a bit uncomfortable". Amazing. Seriously, the clip is misleading but there's no way that Zara would actually be getting her freak on in public like that and the fact that people were stating it as fact is a bit messed up. The 'Bad Boys' singer also went on Insta Story to explain and poke fun at the situation. The "and were we?" in tiny text is sending us.
