The boys of Big Bang are back with a new spin on K-Pop for "YouTube Music Moments".
Big Bang alumni G-Dragon and Taeyang have collaborated on a new track for the YouTube Music Awards.
Featured as one of YouTube's "Music Moments" in the build-up to the 2015 YTMAs, the video for new track "Good Boy" debuted yesterday. As you'd imagine, it's already pulled in almost 2 million views.
It's an interesting new approach to K-Pop; it probably has more elements of trap or electronic to it, sounding very similar to tracks like DJ Snake and Lil Jon's 'Turn Down For What'.
K-Pop has become increasingly popular recently, especially among Western audiences; is this track the beginning of some more globally influenced genre-blending?
