NYC Subway Dance Party

Because who doesn't love a random dance party?

Let's face it: no-one that has to take public transport on a daily basis actually likes public transport. This goes doubly for commuters on the unfriendly subway of New York City, where people usually spend their entire journey avoiding any eye contact.

But according to AMK Productions, all that's needed to make the ride more enjoyable is a couple of strobe lights, a simple DJ set-up and a few hundred glowsticks. Director Meir Kalmanson created a low-key dance party on the subway, inviting people in by way of a bouncer with a velvet rope at the door. Skeptical New Yorkers soon loosened up, and turned the normally uninviting commute into a jumping love train. No joke, we're wishing that the Piccadilly line could ever be this fun.

Check out the awesome dance party below; and keep an eye out for the sweet old lady working the pole.
