Dogs In A Train

By Alim Kheraj

Rather than snakes on a plane this is dogs in a train.

It's the middle of the week and we're all kinda ready for the weekend. We're living off coffee and all in need of a little pick-me-up, right?

Well, have no fear, as we've found the perfect way to kick start 'hump day' and it involves some dogs, a farmer and a makeshift train. Here's the tea...

Eugene Bostick is an 80-year-old man living in Fort Worth, Texas. After retiring 15 years ago, Bostick began a new life after people started dumping dogs outside his barn.

"We started feeding them, letting them in, taking them to the vet to get them spayed and neutered," Bostick said to The Dodo. "We made a place for them to live."

So not only is Bostick completely awesome for taking in abandoned dogs and giving them free rein of his farm, but the dog saviour also found a novel way to keep the pups entertained.

"One day I was out and I seen this guy with a tractor who attached these carts to pull rocks. I thought, 'Dang, that would do for a dog train,'" said Bostick. "I'm a pretty good welder, so I took these plastic barrels with holes cut in them, and put wheels under them and tied them together."

Here is the magic of the 'dog train'.

This is AMAZING.

In fact, there's even a video of Bostick's 'dog train', too.

As Drake would say, what a time to be alive.

Speaking of how much the dogs enjoy the train, Bostick said: "Whenever they hear me hooking the tractor up to it, man, they get so excited," said Bostick. "They all come running and jump in on their own. They're ready to go."

Amazing.

We feel that life could do with a few more dog trains, don't you?
