"Don't perform for the public if you don't want people to have an opinion about it!"

If you're planning on seeing Pete Davidson live and in the flesh onstage, have you got a casual $1million to spare, just in case? The comedian is making his fans sign non-disclosure agreements before attending his shows and if you breach it you could end up having to cough up $1 million in damages plus legal costs.

If you remember, Pete's shows tend to be full of drama. Case in point, when he walked out of his own show in April when someone made a joke about his exes Ariana Grande and Kate Beckinsale. Or, the time Pete performed at the University of Central Florida and called audience members the R-word for using their phones.

Well, that's not going to happen on Pete's watch anymore with this new NDA. Fans who have recently bought tickets to watch the Saturday Night Live star perform have said there are serious requirements for the privilege. One even shared screenshots of the NDA they had received via email on Facebook.

They wrote: "I got an email today informing me that in order to see this show I have to sign a non-disclosure agreement. In that NDA the signer CANNOT GIVE ANY INTERVIEWS, OPINIONS OR CRITIQUES about it in ANY form whatsoever including blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or any other social networking. It also authorizes them to confiscate (including seize & destroy the contents of) any cell phones, cameras or PDAs and that ANY BREACH of the agreement will REQUIRE PAYMENT OF $1 MILLION in damages as well as the legal costs.

"I understood and was willing to consent to the initial request of locking up any phones or cameras brought to the event, but I think this a bit ridiculous and over the top... Don't perform for the public if you don't want people to have an opinion about it!"

Yes, this is all for a comedy show.

Apparently, this isn't a new thing, though. Consequence of Sound reports that this requirement has been in place since at least 7 November. And according to E!, if you refuse to sign the NDA you can't watch Pete's show, but, you will get a full refund.

Despite the tough NDA, it hasn't exactly stopped anyone from coming to see Pete perform. Some admitted that they had signed the NDA to attend his show that was reportedly being filmed for an upcoming Netflix special. Understandably, if Pete's show is going to be on Netflix, he won't want any of his gags to leak online beforehand. However, others have had to sign NDAs for one-off shows, Entertainment Weekly reports.

As you can imagine, the news provoked a lot of conversation online.
