Skrillex's 'F*ck That' Is The Genre-Bending Video Dance Music Desperately Needed

It's more like a mini-film than a video.

Let's face it, over the years we've all seen enough dance music videos to know that quite a lot of them usually look something like this.

The narrative is simple: basically, there isn't one. Just quite a lot of girls and, in the case of Eric Prydz' 'Call One Me', one guy.

But it seems Skrillex is here to change all that. Not content with pushing the boundaries of electronic music, the DJ and dubstep-pioneering producer has now seemingly set his sights on music videos as well.

The video for 'F*ck That' (which is at the top of the page if you hadn't noticed already), tells the dramatic story of a boxer who is released from prison only to plunge straight into an illegal fight club. All the while there's a love story that you just know won't have a happy ending.

It's very graphic and quite sweary (you have been warned), but from a genre that's not known for pushing the boundaries of music videos very often, it's a must watch.

Oh, and the song is awesome.
