Women are flocking to visit "handsome" gorilla Shabani and every day we stray further from God's light.

The internet has a long history of turning random hot guys into viral sensations (Alex From Target and the bean curd salesman are just a couple of recent examples). But it's time for the men to move over, because there's apparently a new sexy primate in town - oh my god, nope, I can't even finish this sentence with a straight face.

Women in Japan are flocking to the Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Nagoya to visit one of their most popular employees. Shabani is big, buff, has piercing eyes, and is an actual gorilla.

"He is more buff than most gorillas and he’s at his peak physically," explains a spokesperson for the Higashiyama Zoo. "We’ve seen a rise in the number of female visitors – women say he’s very good-looking."

Shabani is gaining even more fame outside of Japan, where he is referred to as "Ikemen", meaning "good-looking man". So far no-one seems to think this is weird.

After the zoo's spike in visitors following Shabani's sudden popularity, they started putting him on the promo material. Shabani has literally reached model status.

What do you think: Is Shabani handsome? Should he be in the next Magic Mike sequel? Should we all spend an entire week in church? Let us know in the comments.
