If only all kidnappers were this hot.

Rihanna's uncharacteristically long album roll out might be rubbing people the wrong way but when she's at top Rihanna, she is at TOP Rihanna. The singer has been named the highest selling digital artist in the US just in time for her "Bitch Better Have My Money" music video and we're kind of obsessed with her vibe right now.

So, because we love you and we want you to have nice things, we staff reviewed "Bitch Better My Money". You're welcome, fam.

Bad Girl RiRi has always been a huge crush of mine and to see her 'going nasty' was impressive. Personally, I think the ‘bad girl’ side to Rihanna is a side that should appear more often and when the BBHMM video was released I was excited to see her return. This video was exactly what I wanted to see from her!

Firstly, Rihanna plays the bad girl so convincingly in this video that I’m not sure that she doesn’t actually roam around the America stuffing women into suitcases all the time. Yes it’s all a bit silly and the video feels a little too long at seven minutes, but that scene where she’s walking in slow-mo with blood dripping down her face is a proper popstar moment.

I don’t love it and it’s a shame that it took three months to come, but she’s Rihanna and she don’t give a f*ck. Just don’t throw me in a suitcase RiRi.

Erm I find this problematic. Can’t we all just be nice to one another and keep our boobies in our shirts for a second? Not finding this the celebration of girl power you were perhaps hoping for.

If all kidnappers looked as fresh as Rihanna, it would probably be a much more common problem. It doesn't help that her idea of a ruthless crime also involves shooting flares in a paddling pool on a yacht. But there's a level of absurdity that's low-key on par with Gaga's "Telephone" that makes a ridiculously great narrative to accompany the track. Also, plot twist and a half tbh; Who knew that Hannibal was the bitch all along?

I'm glad Rihanna didn't just do a video of her miming straight to camera for 4 minutes. She has done something different and I think that definitely paid off. I loved the song when it first came out but I think the excitement for the track itself has worn off. I really enjoy how risqué Rih Rih is in this video and I'd love to see her do more things like this. Does anyone else get Quentin Tarantino vibes?

David Cameron better start running because Ri-Ri just launched the ultimate anti-austerity manifesto for the instagram generation. Hashtag this up
