On December 6 in Brooklyn New York, 25 musicians will meet at 10am and will be divided into five 'bands' via a chance lottery. They will then have 12 hours to come up with a band name and 3-5 songs. They will then perform those songs to a waiting audience.

Yes, this is actually happening.

The night will be hosted by Les Savy Fav singer Tim Harrington. Proceeds from the night will go towards the Harmony Program, an organisation that supports music programs in schools.
