As you may know, the Bryan Adams/Ryan Adams jokes have been going on for years, after the lesser-known country star with a similar name stopped a gig and paid an audience member that requested "Summer of '69" to leave. Really. That happened.

But how far we've come, apparently, as the former Whiskeytown frontman finally loosened up during a gig at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville this week, and gave us that oh-so coveted cover. And hey, it's actually amazing. Country Adams has the ability to make songs he covers his on, and the work of friendly rival Rock Adams is no exception.

Check it out and listen to all the audience members whose minds are being blown below.

Ryan and Bryan apparently buried the musical rivalry hatchet a good long while ago, because similar sounding name isn't all they share - they also have the same birthday. Like, you couldn't make this up.
