Researchers at Northumbria University have cracked the code to what makes good dancing in men.

Terrible dancers of the world REJOICE - here's an instant guide to how to make your terrible dancing seem at least appealing.

By capturing the movements of a series of men dancing in their own styles with motion capture, and presenting the results to 37 different women to rate, researchers at Northumbria University were able to pinpoint some of the dance characteristics in men that are most appealing to women.

They learned that larger movements and more variability in your centre (twisting, head tilting, neck movements) are more appealing than that awkward shuffle you're doing in the clubs right now.
