What do Sia and the Rock have in common?

While Sia often makes it clear that she wants the world to "focus on her art", her art keeps popping up in the most unlikely places: the Fifty Shades Of Grey soundtrack, lingerie promo spots, and now... big dumb action movies?

In the new trailer for summer disaster blockbuster San Andreas, a preview of Sia's dreamy cover of The Mamas & The Papas' iconic hit "California Dreamin'" can be heard over clips of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson trying to save his family from the devastation of a massive earthquake. Presumably he punches it and saves the day or something.

The movie looks pretty silly, but the song offers an ironic twist in the artistic direction of the trailer that could prove us wrong; especially Sia's haunting sign-off of "I'd be safe and warm if I was in LA" just after LA has been decimated.

The single isn't available yet, but you can hear a preview in the trailer below. Let us know your thoughts!
