Last week The Neighbourhood quietly released one of the best mixtapes of the year and made it free for you to download. Electronic alternative music purveyors, The Neighbourhood (NHBD) aren't necessarily known for their rap credentials but that didn't stop them from releasing their insanely well produced rap mixtape in the fourth quarter.
The NHBD came together with DJ Drama and Don Cannon on this release, entitled #000000 & #FFFFFF (Black and White). #000000 & #FFFFFF is 18 tracks long and features collaborations from Raury, YG, G Eazy, and French Montana.
If Kanye doesn't get in touch with The NHBD soon, we'll be passing along their phone number to him because the band have just made the record he wished he were working on.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if the actress from The Parent Trap and Mean Girls featured on a Duran Duran track? No, you've never wondered about that? Take a moment to wonder about it and then bask in the knowledge that soon it won't just be a speck on the landscape of obscure and seemingly improbable thoughts.
Soon it will be a thing.
Lindsay Lohan, everyone's favourite entity, has reportedly been spending time with the blokes from Duran Duran. Duran Duran are of course, the prolific auteurs of works such as "Hungry Like A Wolf" and "Girls on Film".
Lindsay Lohan instagrammed a photo of her and Ali Lohan in the studio with Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes which sent inquiring minds into overdrive.
Lindsay is believed to be contributing a speaking cameo to the record while her younger sister is thought to have a singing part.
In related news, this week marks is the 10 year anniversary of Lindsay Lohan's ground-breaking album, Speak. Who should we get in touch with about Duran Duran doing a new wave cover of "Daughter to Father"?
