Jeffree Star Cosmetics customers also found that the texture of the eyeshadows were "crumbly" with "little pay off".

Jeffree Star is receiving backlash again and, no, it's nothing to do with his boyfriend André Marhold this time. The YouTuber's fans have complained that the formula of his latest eyeshadow palette Orgy differs to its travel-sized version resulting in "pellets" in the pan.

Now, the palette has already received criticism for its "inappropriate" name and Jeffree was accused of ignoring his young fans. However, that's not even the worst of it. Now the travel-sized version, named Mini Orgy, is being called out.

After receiving their Mini Orgy palettes, a few customers complained that they have a noticeably different formula to the Orgy palette. Some noted that the colours in the mini palette were "crumbly" and even contained "pellets". Others said that the Orgy palette had arrived with loose shades.

The Beauty Bay reviews echoed what was said on social media too, earning 2.8 stars out of 5 stars from customers. One wrote: "The formula is quite shocking considering previous palettes. Wet glass has hardly any pigment payoff and the other shades are very crumbly and don't stay in place even with my tried and true eye primer."

Another added: "I have bought many JS products, I'm a big fan of his liquid lips and past palettes, however this is super disappointing. There is literally no pigment for 3 of the eyeshadows, the shade Glass Wet has literally crumbled to pieces. It also appears the Glass Wet, Frozen Fire and Foam Party now have a bubbly texture. If anyone is considering this I strongly suggest you look at the reviews, such poor quality from a Jeffree Star Product and it's put me off purchasing further Palettes from this line."

Jeffree hasn't addressed the claims yet but this wouldn't be the first time he's had complaints about his palettes. In November 2019, people found "hair" in the Jeffree Star x Shane Dawson Conspiracy palette. Jeffree apologised for the mishap and insisted that the hair was actually fibres found following an investigation with his lab.

He tweeted: "Hey everyone, it’s come to our attention that a few dozen people out of 1.1 million palettes produced, have a few ribbon fibers embedded in their products. The lab has done a full investigation & we found the issue. I pride myself on quality and fully apologize for this error.

"Anyone that has ANY product issues with any JSC product, my customer service team is available Monday to Friday. Palettes that were effected, we have sent out new ones and also given a full refund because that does not reflect how my brand should be represented."
