In December 2019, Kim was accused of blackface.

Kim Kardashian has the internet debating about her skin tone once again after sharing a photo of her natural "pale" skin colour against what we usual see her with when she wears body makeup.

Last week, Kim showed her fans her extensive daily makeup routine, which includes applying body makeup. Of course, it was the perfect opportunity to plug her own brand – KKW Beauty – which sells body makeup.

The trainee lawyer applied the light/medium shade to one of her hands and showed the shocking difference in colours side-by-side. "KKW Beauty Body Make Up is perfect for hands because my hands are always pale and our formula is waterproof so you can wash your hands," she posted on the image.

Of course, there's absolutely nothing wrong with having a tan. Whether you choose to use makeup, fake tanning products or the traditional Vitamin D, it's up to you. However, Kim has a history of cultural appropriation, blackface and blackfishing accusations.

Most recently, Kim was accused of "blackface" for sporting a much darker skin tone on a magazine cover. She has received backlash for darkening her skin in KKW Beauty campaigns.

Needless to say, the internet is truly tired of Kimberly's tanning shenanigans.

However, others defended Kim and insisted she had simply reduced the pink tones in her skin.

Kim is yet to respond to the backlash but we'll let you know if she does.
