"Tom Holland shaved his head and now he looks like Caillou"

Following all that Spider-Man Marvel/Sony drama, a whole new era has begun for Tom Holland. People, please make sure you're all sitting down for this because Tom with the good hair has just shaved his entire head and is now rocking a brand new hair cut... yep, it's officially Buzzcut Tom szn.

The new look is for Tom's new movie Cherry, which follows "an Army medic suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder [who] becomes a serial bank robber after an addiction to drugs puts him in debt."

Tom is currently filming in Cleveland right now with the Russo Brothers, and he showed off his new look in a video (via @artdav on Twitter) where he took the time to say hi to some veterans.

First Harry Styles, then Joe Keery, now this? I need to lie down.

Of course, the second that the video of Tom hit social media, fan accounts starting going wild. People were freaking out about his new look and began mourning the loss of his curly Spider-bae locks.

The tweets? As out of control as you can expect. The remembrance videos? Moving and thoughtful. The fact that his hair will grow back and we will all realise that this has been one completely unnecessary overreaction? You may have a point.

Wow, this is beautiful.

He literally looks like Caillou.

Tom Holland set to play Eminem in new biopic from the Russo Brothers.

See you again in like, 9 months but you will be missed.

Never forget.

There's no release date for Cherry just yet, as they've only just begun filming, but it's expected to arrive at some point in 2020.

Tom also announced recently that he will be taking a break from Instagram and social media while he films his new movie. Writing on Instagram, he said: “My Pooch and Me. Off now to go begin my latest venture with the @therussobrothers I’m going to be taking a short break from instagram, so see you all in the not so distant future."
