Bella Thorne just got dragged by Pussy Riot for 'copying' them

Oh no she didn't.
Bella Thorne has been accused of copying Pussy Riot's designs. The Disney actress released a collection of colourful ski masks with her fashion brand, Filthy Fangs. The "Watch Your B**tch Ski Mask" – which comes in neon green and pink – was almost sold out just 20 minutes after it dropped.
But Pussy Riot thought the masks looked a little too much like the ones they famously wear for protest. The Russian feminist group are known for rocking brightly coloured ski masks onstage and off, and they wasted no time in calling out Bella on Twitter. Who knew ski masks were such a touchy subject?
"Just saw recent @bellathorne's merch.. look EXACTLY like our colorful feminist ski masks," they tweeted. "we hope it's not merely an act of appropriation and bella indeed will join pussy riot and protest with us on the red square."

Some thought Bella totally completely copied Pussy Riot too and piled in on her.
Not cool Bella, those have been worn by Pussy Riot activists for many year. I know what PR’s activism is and the meaning of those colorful ski masks, but what do YOU stand for Bella?

You ARE clearly copping a feel on their style.

Bellathorne ski masks are inferior to yours, they lack hutzpah.

However, some agreed that while the masks looked similar, it probably didn't fall under "appropriation." I mean, Pussy Riot didn't exactly invent the ski mask.
Trademark infringement maybe; copyright violation possibly. Appropriation? pic.twitter.com/Yp9Wi8GB3B

So you guys invented ski masks? News to me....

Isn’t HeWho the inventor of this look? @thedwarvesband pic.twitter.com/fo6Pagxwx7

Of course, Bella caught wind of all the drama and hit back – is she mad or not, though?

Now, this wouldn't be the first time Bella's been accused of ripping off someone else's merch. Back in August, Filthy Fangs released eyeshadow palettes that looked a little like ones being sold by another beauty brand, Juvia's Place.
In an interview with Teen Vogue, Juvia’s Place owner Chichi Eburu said it was "unacceptable" but Bella just brushed it off. She concluded that they probably had the same manufacturer and joked she'd be copying another palette. Well, you know what they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...
