Gigi really said, "Your name's not down, you're not coming in".

If modelling ever happens to not work out for Gigi Hadid, she's definitely got a career in security. The supermodel managed to block a French YouTuber from ruining Chanel's Paris Fashion Week show, after she crashed the runway.

The Chanel Spring 2020 show kicked off in Paris on 1 October with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and rapper Cardi B sitting front row. But the classy affair was interrupted when an uninvited woman ran up on the runway and joined the line-up of models.

She ended up wedged in between two models who didn't even flinch and continued to showcase the latest Chanel designs. That's some serious dedication to Chanel, if you ask us. Security tried to catch the woman but didn't manage to keep up because she blended into the model line-up seamlessly in her dogtooth skirt suit.

But, in swoops in supermodel Gigi Hadid with all the technique of a nightclub bouncer. Gigi came face-to-face with the intruder and after a stand-off which saw her weirdly try and pose for Gigi, she was firmly led to the exit. And that is how it's done!

Apparently, the woman who stormed the runway is French YouTuber and comedian Marie Benoliel, also known Marie S'Infiltre. It's not known why she decided to pull the stunt but according to WWD, she does this kind of thing all the time, and she even crashed the runway at an Etam show in her lingerie earlier this week.

After the show, Chanel released a statement that read: "This person is a comedian known for this type of prank. She had crashed another runway recently. Her presence on the catwalk was not planned. Security guards simply led her to the exit at the end of the show."

Of course, once the internet got hold of the clip of Gigi Hadid leading Marie off of the runway there were some hilarious memes and reactions.

If there's one thing we've learnt from this incident, it's that you certainly do not mess with Gigi Hadid.
