This year's Met Gala theme was "Camp: Notes on Fashion."

Every year the Met Gala brings out the crème de la crème of the fashion world, so of course Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner managed to swipe an invite.

Last year, Kylie arrived with her boyfriend (or possibly husband?!) Travis Scott, while Kendall walked the red carpet alone. However, this year Kylie left Travis on the sidelines and the sisters made a dramatic entrance together.

Kendall and Kylie – whose sister Kim Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner were also at the event – completely embraced the Camp theme this year in brightly coloured feather dresses.

Camp is all about colour and extravagance, and they served it on a platter. Kendall was basically the human version of the fire emoji with orange feathers surrounding her head, and Kylie looked like Ursula the sea witch with lilac hair and a matching feather boa.

On the red carpet, Kendall revealed to E! that they had designed their outfits with Donatella Versace and they really "went for it" this year, after being called out in previously for not fully embracing the dress code.

However, it took about two seconds before the internet began savagely roasting them for their feathered looks.

It didn't help that Zendaya turned up looking like Cinderella, cue the comparison to the Ugly Stepsisters…
