AND the lipstick colour is gorgeous on everyone.

There's no doubt about it. 2016 has emboldened women, people of colour, LGBTQ+ folks, and allies to loudly declare what side of history they're on. Whether it's in the form of sassy t-shirts, pink pussy hats, or iron on patches, people are becoming more vocal (and more visual) about their beliefs.

One cosmetics company is giving socially conscious makeup lovers a chance to say "f*ck trump" and donate to charities at the same time.

With their single universally flattering pink shade, a company called Lipslut have launched the f*ck Trump lipstick campaign to "put their money where their mouth is" and "shake things up for the better".

The cruelty-free beauty start-up donates 50% of its proceeds to women's charities chosen by its buyers. However, following the events of Charlottesville, Virginia, Lipslut is pledging 100% of allocated "Charlottesville" proceeds to the victims of the violent attack.

When a buyer goes to check out, a drop down menu will ask what charity they would like the proceeds of their order to benefit. Anyone who selects "CHARLOTTESVILLE" will have 100% of the money from their order donated to the victims.

After just four days, Lipslut managed to raise $40,000 for those hurt in the attack. The f*ck Trump lipsticks have since gone viral.

In addition to contributing to medical costs, Lipslut told the Hollywood Reporter that it will also be donating a portion of the proceeds to local ACLU and BLM chapters in Charlottesville.

Lipslut only have one colour for the moment (it helps keep costs down) but they plan to release more in the future. We're hoping they stay provocative with their product names and keep up their strong political and social initiative.
