This makes sense...

Kendall Jenner recently came under fire for some comments that she made in an interview with LOVE magazine.

The model was speaking about her work schedule in the latest issue of the publication and said: “Since the beginning we’ve been super selective about what shows I would do. I was never one of those girls who would do like 30 shows a season or whatever the fuck those girls do."

She then added: "More power to ‘em. But I had a million jobs, not only catwalks but everything else. The whole combination was very overwhelming and I started to freak out a little bit and needed to take a step back".

Unsurprisingly, many people interpreted the "whatever the fuck those girls do" comment as shade and pointed out that most models don't have the luxury of being able to do less shows. They need the opportunities.

Here are just a few of the initial reactions.

Kendall has a huge amount of privilege so it's understandable that many people were unimpressed by her comments. Most models don't have access to the fame and fortune that Kendall has grown up with. Nevertheless, it appears that Kendall in no way meant to disrespect anyone in her interview.

Taking to Twitter, Kendall has now clarified her comments and revealed that her words were "taken out of context". She also said: "The respect that I have for my peers is immeasurable!"

Now this is the kind of positive message that we can get behind.
