People Think This Brand Named Their Nail Polish Something SUPER Racist As A Publicity Stunt

Wow, beauty brands are getting BOLD in 2018.
Unusual nail polish names are nothing new. From OPI's "I'm Not Really A Waitress" to Essie's "Spaghetti Strap", it seems that cosmetic companies aren't planning on returning to classics like "blue" and "red" anytime soon.
Enter stage left, a cosmetics brand no one has ever heard of coming through with the most racist nail colour name you can imagine. Italian brand Wycon cosmetics is feeling the heat after provocatively naming one of their nail polish colours "Thick As A N****".

Most people assumed it was a publicity stunt.
A gel polish you’ve probably never heard of used “Thick as a Nigga” as a name for a black polish, so that they can become a nail polish brand that you’ve heard of.

No one is checking for y'all that's why y'all pulled this stunt. You really need the attention... looking at that nail polish I can see why.

Of course, the brand issued an apology after the backlash.
Aware of our social and global responsibility we are deeply sorry.

We strongly believe beauty has no gender, race or religion as already shown in our previous campaigns. Let's say #NoOneExcluded ! We swear this won’t happen anymore. pic.twitter.com/ZyXHTxz1dl
Whether or not this was a publicity stunt, there's no denying the layers of poor judgment here. There is plenty of racism and prejudice in the world without people going out of their way to invent new racist phrases for attention.
We hereby declare this brand we'd never heard of before today CANCELLED.
