Nail polish for your teeth, could it get any stranger?

The beauty industry never ceases to out-weird itself. We've had rainbow hair, rainbow nails and clothing, so naturally teeth would be the next craze to sweep the internet.

Beauty fans can now inject some colour into their smiles with fashion tooth polish. Because pearly whites are just SO 2017. Now you can choose to switch up your gnashers and choose from hues like Candy Floss, Mint, Fairy Dust and Pretty in Pink.

Glitter pumpkin butts are the most WTF Halloween trend of 2018

Here are some of the wild examples that Instagram has to offer...

Working just like nail polish, your new rainbow teeth can stay on for up to 24 hours. You can even eat and drink while rocking the look and simply remove it with a brush and some toothpaste. It doesn't stain and the product is said to be made from a grain alcohol base and the pigments, similar to food colouring, are compliant with the Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Act in the US.

David Silverstein came up with the bonkers idea and created Chrom temporary tooth polish late last year. "We see this becoming commonplace — everything from a club vibe to an everyday workplace fashion accent," he told The New York Post. "Perhaps you go to work with one tooth [that] matches your nail polish or your hair colour." Somehow, we don't see this catching on in the office.

Silverstein said that multi-coloured grins were already big on the festival circuit and his company is even coming out with a glitter line, just in time for the festive season, so we'll be seeing a lot more colourful smiles. However, the internet didn't seem too sure on this one...
