"The art is temporary but they will speak of it forever."
Inspiring story comin' atcha! Prepare to have your icy cold heart warmed beyond your wildest dreams!
This is Benjamin Lloyd - an artist from New Zealand who specialises in airbrushing. He paints things from cars to horses right up to anyone looking for a killer temporary tattoo.
And that includes kids!
Last week, he posted a status on Facebook alongside a few images of his friend's son Jin wearing one of his airbrushed temporary tattoos.
If the post reached 50+ likes, he promised would pay a visit to his local children's hospital and provide the kids with free temporary tats.
Needless to say, the post went V-I-R-A-L (it has now scored over 450k likes with 250k shares) and Lloyd not only ended up paying a visit to the Starship Hospital, he also stopped by various other hospitals in the area.
The designs take him around 9-10 minutes to complete and he uses organic, non toxic ink to apply the tattoos.
The results are absolutely INSANE!
Lloyd told the Bay of Plenty Times in NZ, "The kids are so amazed. As soon as they get the tattoo it boosts their confidence."
Lloyd has now set up a fundraising page so he can travel to other children's hospitals across the country, and eventually the world, and treat them to the same experience.
Ugh, what we wouldn't have done to get a temporary tattoo sleeve convincing enough to freak out our parents. Nice work, Benjamin!
