#GlitterPits: Raise Your Arms And Smell The Sparkles

Would you try this beauty trend?
2015 has officially been The Year Of Glitter. Glitter roots, glitter beards, glitter eyebrows, glitter lips... All of which we have honoured in our Weirdest Beauty Trends of 2015 in case you haven't heard! But the internet has just dropped a new beauty trend on us that makes 'Rainbow Armpits' look like amateur work.
World, say hello to #GlitterPits!
What in the name of Miley Cyrus' Dead Petz is happening right now?!
As a response to the male trend #GlitterBeards, the fearless female online contingent have created the hashtag to promote body equality and challenge body hair norms. The hashtag is ~everywhere~, and while badass feminists are really embracing the statement, other Twitter dwellers are lowkey hating it.
Why are #glitterpits a thing???— Natasha Jones (@NatashaJones97) December 4, 2015
I will not deal w glitter pits or glitter beards. I REFUSE.— M (@MKSkyton) December 4, 2015
Don’t get us wrong. We’re here for the glitter every morning, noon and night but is this one going a bit too far? Think about it... unless you're willing to walk around with your arms above your head all night, it's got to be the most uncomfortable thing EVER? And think about the mess! Ugh, nightmare!
But then again, what better way is there to challenge the body-norms and equality than with glorious glittery arm pits?! (We’re still NOT gonna try it tho. SOZ.)
