Can you #HitTheQuan?

Another day, another viral dance craze.

Last week, #nowimmad was Twitter's answer to a question no one asked, and this week's fun internet thing is the #HitTheQuanChallenge. Hitting the Quan originates from a sort of homage to rapper Rich Homie Quan.

Written and performed by rapper iHeart Memphis, "The Quan" really started to gain traction when these news ladies did the dance.

Then some other news ladies did The Quan.

Then people realised that you didn't have to be a news lady to hit The Quan.

Hitting the Quan involves some semi complex dance moves and the will to really commit to every aspect of said moves. The best part of the Quan is that it looks kind of good even if you're not a skilled dancer.

The summer started out with some chaotic evil in the form of Twitter trends, but it looks like Hitting the Quan might be the neutral good to to launch us back into the school year.

At least people aren't doing The Kylie Jenner lip challenge anymore.
