Adele Dazeem.
Perpetual Frozen machine Idina Menzel has received the most predictable form of backlash as a result of her lacklustre Rockin' New Year’s Eve performance.
First they did this….
Then people on twitter started calling her "Adele Dazeem" again. Ya know, that thing from all the way back in March 2014.
They booked Idina Menzel, but got Adele Dazeem.

But some also stuck up for her
Of course the #haters gonna hate on @idinamenzel 's #AdeleDazeem moment on #NYE2015 - these are the people who dont have a #Tony or sing pro

And then there was Toni who suggested that some people…you know
They've been using Adele Dazeem in that article. Guys it's been a year now. Maybe it's time to...I don't know...LET IT GO?!

Eventually Idina responded to the criticism by posting a quote from an interview she did a while back.

In all fairness to Idina, temperatures dipped to around -20f (-28C) in New York City that night and we're surprised she didn’t mess up worse than that.
Watch the performance below and decide for yourself if she was all that bad or if people should….you know.
