Brenda Strong, who plays Nora Walker, previously played the iconic Mary Alice Young in Desperate Housewives.

Season two of 13 Reasons Why introduced a LOT of new characters to the audience. There was Nina, Chloe, Scott, and of course, Bryce's parents, Nora and Barry Walker. In season 3, most of these characters will return alongside side some new faces.

You'll probably recognise a few of them from recent TV shows but if you feel like Bryce's mum seems a little toooo familiar to you, that's because she's a preeeetty big deal in the world of TV.

Nora Walker is played by Brenda Strong who also played the iconic Mary Alice Young in Desperate Housewives. While she only made a handful of on-screen appearances in the show throughout the eight seasons, she narrated the entire thing. And that's why her voice sounds so familiar - and haunting.

It's also kind of fitting if you think about it because, like Hannah Baker, Mary Alice's mysterious suicide also sent her friends on a mission to finally find out what drove her to do such a thing.

It's not just Desperate Housewives where you'll recognise her from either. Strong has recently appeared in Supergirl, Fear The Walking Dead, The 100 and Scandal. And has also had roles in Gilmore Girls and Seinfeld. Basically, she's been in everything you've ever watched. A TV legend.

Of course, the revelation has only just hit some people and little by little, they're starting to absolutely LOSE it over the fact that we've got Wisteria Lane royalty in our midsts.

Long live Mary Alice Young. The definition of "deserved better".
